Made a couple of cryptic comments about some other disruptive stuff at the club over the last couple of weeks aside from the tragic events of last weekend. Anyone know what he’s alluding to?

Can see it being:

1. Certain players being told they can leave
And/or
2. Injuries that we haven't yet been told about

Maybe it’s just me being more morose due to the January cold, but it did seem more than that.

Not injuries, if you listen to the end, he says no new injuries.

Agree though there seemed to be allusion to something other than the loss of Cameron and his dad. Clearly been a very difficult week.

Maybe he is referring to the festive results? In the record books, he is the manager of a team with the worst home defeat since the end of WWII.

There are usually two pre match interviews as Matt Dean does one too.

If there is one with him, maybe that might shed more light as Matt goes a bit more in depth.

Matt Dean has interviewed him, we just have a 2 minute clip at th  moment where he mainly talks about what support the club has provided players and staff across the club in light of what happened to Dave and Cam.

Yep - agreed. Let’s not broach the Elephant in the Room - Any transfer news??!! I reckon that’s what the bad couple of weeks refers too. No money, players leaving, nobody coming in.

A new Manager always has the ability to draw their players and I really expected that at the start of the window - zilch!!!!

And those that have been told they can leave will probably only give 50% if called upon…..Worrying times…….again!!

Full 20 min interview is up now. Sounds like there has been transfer news, the club just hasn’t seen fit to announce given what’s happened in the last week.

Yes it sounds like they are biding their time with an announcement

Thought we won that?

A very sensitive interview by DA & I thought he handled an impossible situation, as well as he possibly could.

Football has been secondary this week & absolutely rightly so.

I’ve no doubt, the town will unite on Saturday & support one another over the tragic loss of two of our own. We can worry about the football stuff afterwards.

I thought Matt Dean labored the subject a little too much though.  Shouldn't have forced DA to keep talking about others grief.

I thought the exact opposite, didn't push too hard and was very careful in the words he used. The way they were both were able to transition into serious football talk is a credit to both of them, think Matt is excellent at what he does and we're very lucky to have him on local radio.
