Can't help feeling we're in a lot more danger than this. Salford are more in danger than Colchester based on recent games.

Game was male masturbation, but I don't expect we will get relegated. We have a fuckload of work to do, of course, and nowhere near where we need to be, but I think we'll have enough to grab enough points to get out of the excrement.

Tbh, as bad as Town are, I don’t think we will go down due to how bad the bottom two are, however, I’m having a bit of 14/1 just in case, cheers

We are 16/1 on Betfred and this is the day after a 1-6 home beating.

Longer odds than Morecambe who are 6 points above us with 2 games in hand.

I'm keeping the faith and keeping money in my pocket! UTM

Do the odds on Swindon suggest they may get a point’s penalty for inappropriate actions?
If not can’t understand their odds

Probably based on current form and would be different odds after another 6 games. Bookies look at patterns, and Swindon are in freefall at the moment, having lost 5 of their last 6.

Surprisingly, we are solidly mid table in the form guide over the last 6 games, sitting in 14th.

It's weird in League 2 this season, with form going up and down all over the place. Apart from the top 3 or 4 teams, all the others are losing games regularly. Tranmere are currently flying up the league, but have lost more games than we have.

We don't turn enough draws into wins in the main.

Swindon have also had two forwards, Young and Kemp, recalled by their parent clubs and losing Young in particular will be a massive blow, bit like us if we lost Rose.

Yeah, that's a factor too.

Just had a look at a longer term form guide over the last 12 games and Swindon are second bottom, with only Salford doing worse.

Over the last 10 games, since PH was canned, we sit 14th in the form guide, suggesting that things are not as dire as some fans fear.

As we know performances such as Salford, Crewe etc are possible I don’t think we’ll be relegated.

Yeah I think Swindon losing Young and Kemp is massive for them, although there's a big gap to be made up on them from a really low bar below them.

Swindon have got to play a fair few of those below them in the coming weeks but I don't really see anyone, including ourselves, getting sucked into the bottom four.

We'll be fine.  We'll have some more Crewe/Salford days and I dare say we'll have a couple more like yesterday too, it's a process and there's no way we're going to deviate from it.  It's going to be bumpy and it'll test patience.  I think Artell was probably wrong to state that we won't go down, but he's not wrong and if there's any season to write off and use it as an extended pre-season/time to develop things then this is the one.

Swindon are in under investigation by EFL in respect of ‘various matters’. Was announced in September

They've just lost there best player and have no money at all. They're in free fall as-well as the investigation looming over there heads.

I'd argue that Kemp is the bigger loss. Much better player than Young from what I've seen. Young obviously knows where the net is but his form is streaky and he's a bit of a carthorse, the latter of which isn't necessarily a bad thing in L2 but Kemp would walk into every side in the division and will play higher.

Kemp got a hat trick playing for Hartlepool against us last Good Friday
Looked one heck of a player that day

Yep. Some bookies have taken Swindon's odds off site.

Morecambe are six points ahead of us with a game in hand but face charges for late payment of wages. An initial three points deduction may be followed by further measures if they lose the case.

Swindon are in big trouble , one of my local teams . Done too well to struggle this year , but could well next season their owners are bleeding them dry , masterstroke getting Kemp and Young on loan but no chance of buying them .

I have been feeling downbeat the last few weeks about Town , but surely our hope has to be that league 2 empties out of the big guns financially and they are replaced by the basket case clubs , smaller payers and a few league 2 regulars .

We need some hope at least

Yeah the Walsall score was hard to chew, however, Walsall are the in form team over the last 6 matches, Mansfield 3rd, Harrogate 9th.

Forest Green have picked up 7 pts in 10 games, Colchester 4, Salford 3 pts.  Keep moaning, its not as bad as it looks.

They are paying him a bit but no one else and they barely have a squad of 16 ,a couple of injuries and they are shot tbh .

I thought we were nailed on to finish above them and about 10 other teams at least , shows how bad our season has been and how much I know .
