If you're heading to Newport today via the train make sure you check its running. I've had an email to say ours is cancelled (AGAIN!) Luckily we have an earlier one so it just means an extra hour in Newport.

Since purchasing a family card I've tried using the train 11 times and only once has it ever run on time, even then I ended up sitting in the corridor next to a toilet because the train was full.

Anyway, safe journey to you all

If your trains are late and you are delayed into your final destination don't forget to claim delay repay compensation from the train company who was responsible for your delay

They're  a joke.. luckily I can use any train but I have 2 semh children with me so I asked if she could book seats on the 10.18am train for me..  she was adamant their wasn't a 10.18am.. she eventually realised there was but can't book me seats.... thisll be an interesting journey!

I assume I can't claim anything back because there are other options available to me

If you decide not to travel you can claim. If you travel later claim delay. On an earlier train can't claim.  If return journey cancelled buy a tent.(  India and Bangladesh Railway News )
