We'd have been away to Coventry.

Not too disappointed we lost now.

Not what I would call a glamour tie.

That would have been a great away day , we’ve had some mad cup ties there over the years

But we wouldn't have been No 61 as Oxford were, we'd have been number 50 something, so would be facing someone else.

Wrong. We were ball 61

This was decided prior to the fixtures.

Went to see Rammstein there, what a hell of a trek from the Town centre. That was on the bus too. Nothing around the area apart from pop up bars.
Coventry itself is great for pubs but not too pleasing on the eye, they could have made better use of the blank canvas that Hitler gave them.

I went to Coventry when we lost 1.0 in the cup.

Over 12,000 saw us being robbed it was never a penalty.

That was my first ever away game. Next time I went I had to watch Kevin Drinkell score a hat trick against us. My last visit was to see us thumped 4-0 under Jolley when we seemed certain to get relegated. Mind you that was at the Ricoh arena, not Highfield Road. So not a happy hunting ground.

I went to Highfield Road twice - first for that game when Jevons scored the winner (after their keeper went walkabout) and Strachan got sacked, then the following season when Kabba & Pouton scored but we lost 3-2.

It was a decent ground. I don’t know the ins and outs but the club doesn’t seem to have prospered since they left their old place. It might be the exception rather than the rule, but their shiny new stadium seems to have only brought them issues.

They did amazing last season, though. The guy who missed the pen that promoted Luton in the play-offs played against us for Forest Green a couple of weekends ago!

looks like our trip to Wimbledon won't be going ahead on schedule.
They are 5-0 up, with a referee who looks like Father Fintan Stack from Father Ted  ;D ;D
