Those who have a Mariners TV subscription can watch extended highlights of our draw at MK... but I wouldn't bother.

Not having a go at the team, or the club - because the footage is edited and supplied for them - but it's a disappointment every time.

At first glance you see it lasts 10 minutes, opposed to the 2 minutes Sky Sports uploads within an hour or two of the match ending.

In reality, those 10 minutes are the 2 minutes. There's barely anything new in there.

Firstly, it takes a good minute to start because you see the teams walking out, lining up, etc, while the commentator tells you stuff you already know. Then there's a wasted 30 seconds at the end because the referee blowing his full time whistle is also regarded as a highlight by the editors.

Sandwiched in the middle of that is 8.5 minutes, but even this is filled with a series of unnecessary replays from exactly the same angle. They replay every highlight, not just the goals.

When you break it down, it's just the 2 minute edit with 'room to breath' and a commentator - who wasn't there, and is dubbed on later in a sound booth.

If, like me, you began watching that 10-minute video in the hope of seeing a bit more of the game, or some of our better passing in the first half, you'll be left disappointed. It's not in there. When you break it down, it adds nothing. If you saw the 2-minute edit, you've seen everything because the only thing they've added is waffle and replays.

I thought it showed more of our chances, especially 2nd half compared to 2 min highlights
