Glad to see tickets being shown when for sale
1497 ...Why not round up to 1500.
Common sense looking at it for the sake of 3 tickets
Oh well don't they know we will turn up.
Given our past record of away crowd numbers.

Now I'm going to hazard a complete guess here, and say there are probably only 1497 tickets available. Hence, the allocation of 1497.

Thank you not knowing how it works

No,. I can't see your point. Are they meant to add an additional 3 seats to the stadium just to appease your need for roundings?

It holds 12500 so we should get a few more than 1497 which isn’t a lot.

Think we should get just shy of 1900 if we’re due to get 15%. Though could probably see it being maybe a few more if there’s not a lot of interest from the Oxford fans

We're entitled to up to 15% of the capacity.

At 12,500 capacity that's 1875.

That's if 12,500 is correct.  Take away seats that aren't actually available of that 12,500 and I dare say 15% is 1497.

A lad I know supports Oxford and they are only ‘opening’ 2 stands which the fans are furious at. Not sure if this takes away any away allowance or not. Their fans have also asked (near enough demanded) that they price the tickets at £10/£1 (cons) but the club don’t want anything to do with it.

Edit: he actually thinks they could be giving us the whole stand/large section and only 2 stands for Oxford supporters

Fa Cup early rounds hold little attraction in reality ....unless you are a minnow.
State of the game.

Given that it only has 3 stands, does that mean they are therefore opening the whole stadium?

They're not even opening all the stadium so surely they could accommodate more IF demand met

I think he means that where our fans will be housed, the home fans won’t be allocated any seats unless demand requires them to

At the end of the day I love the FA Cup .
Yes  the early rounds favour the small clubs  for financial/ spotlight/ media/ publicity  etc ..last year was Grimsby  ticking these boxes with PH  leading this ..now  this season  we go against  Oxford  ..fingers crossed  in the field of dreams.Ally McCoist  became  a fan of Town at Southampton .Lets see what how it unfolds.

Perhaps Oxford FC can make it up to 1500 and Caterham Mariner and his two mates can go stand in the Oxford KOP end  :)

1500 seems about right for what we'll take there .

I'm not very optimistic of a cup run this season , saying that I wasn't last season either.

We’re used to being the underdog in cup games.
