Found myself in Auchinleck Talbot country today and obviously our old friend came to mind. Made me smile at his memory. Especially after I’d just been to see some family up there one of whom (my Uncle Gerard) is no longer with us but was a huge Town fan himself.

Been through Auchinleck a few times on my travels to the west coast of Scotland and always had a thought for Jock.

A very good poster was John, he put me right on a few things (politics and unions) had the pleasure of meeting him too, a nice man.

Played a gig in Auchinleck, when a professional musician in the 60's.
