Just been announced on Talk Sport he has been diagnosed with cancer
Good honest hard working midfielder when he was with us
Wish him and his family all the best and a speedy recovery

Sad news and hope he has a speedy recovery.
Shakey was one of my favourite players as a kid...when i was far too young to understand football really, hah and just chose at random.

Thankfully cancer is no longer the death sentence it once was, so let’s hope he pulls through ok.

Knew he was a quality player once I’d seen a full page photo/poster of him in 90 minutes 2 days before Town played forest in that infamous 5-3 game at forest.

30 years since he signed for us. 100 have been and gone since, some barely remembered but he's still well regarded. Best of luck in the battle 🙏 he is a winner.
