Anyone know how ticket sales are going? We had an initial allocation of 1,000 if I remember. Hopefully we can pay on the day

Quite a substantial drop in attendance at the home game against Barrow

Just got 2 Stockport tickets was worried I might be too late, but not even an online queue, I think enthusiasm is dropping a little now.

Hoping to make this one pending childcare arrangements (selfish wife has decided to do something for herself).

Do we know whether we can pay on the gate / buy tickets on the day?

And cost, regardless of performances, leading up to Christmas, half term in the horizon, energy bills set to rise again, two decent away days back to back…all factors into the thought processes of folk…

Still higher than our average attendance in the last 9 out of 12 (playable ) seasons , so I wouldn't hit the panic button - Tuesday night games were 3.5k before so not too bad.

Exactly, dropped as low as 2500 for Cheltenham in 19/20.

And the opposition/away gate.

Fair play to the fans and the team who looked very neat and tidy.

I meant that if it was Bradford, Donny, Mansfield etc it would've been much higher.

We will probably average more this season than last however we do,  with that second half of the season , hell of a run of games at home in the last 10  - Notts,Stockport,Wrexham,Bradford,Donny, Swindon .

Coast to coast innit. Big old journey. 500 would be respectable. 800+ would be a superb effort.

Used to enjoy tranmere away. Some great memories there. CHIMA for a start and one year we passed the Norwich city team bus and Robert fleck got his bottom out and mooned us all in the car on the m62

One of my 2 trips to Tranmere was when we filled their away end with Nicky 'laying down Law' as gaffer and a poor poor Town team . Not a good day as I'm sure anyone who was there will testify.

The other one was in the 98/99 season and a remarkable stat is Joe Murphy was in their squad then , and is back there now as backup at 42 years of age - not sure it's Kevin Poole level - what was he in that Burton game ?
But some innings none the less

Poole was a couple of months shy of 47 that fateful day. Still couldn’t put one past him.

He’s now 60, which seems mad for a game that doesn’t feel that long ago.
