8th in the league and 4 points off top. Madness. Utterly unsurprising madness.

Their fans were restless after we beat them.  Recent form is a little ropey but 8th after 11 games and four points off the top seems a bit harsh.

Looks like we're entering silly season.  3 in less than 24 hours in the FL.

Parkinson can't be far off the sack. If Mark Hughes and his team have anything about them, they will be trying to convince the Americans that his homecoming and last job in football will be an excellent story for the documentary.

Somewhat perversely, Parkinson’s case is probably aided by the fact he’s started the past two seasons pretty slowly before storming up the league thereafter. It becomes a case of whether the likes of Shaun Harvey and his Hollywood pals have the nouse to recognise that that’s going to be a while lot harder in League Two.

There ain’t no Dover’s or Maidstone’s in this division.

Directors saying they want to go in a different direction. Down the table?

Or maybe they don't like route one football, played by giants.

Harris going from Gillingham is odd, unless he’s been sniffing at other jobs.

When he took over they were hopeless, they’ve lost games this year but they’re hardly shite…

Silly season in full swing…

Their fans don't like his tactics. Negative apparently. But it still seems rash considering where they are in the table. One of those decisions that could backfire spectacularly

Hope so, don’t mind Harris but Gillingham seem an odd club…

Single goal victories not entertaining....American owner with big expectations to exploit the whole of Kent being the only Football League club in the county.

Most sackings have very little impact and yet it's a frequently chosen option. Unfortunately nobody will ever know in any case whether it was a good, bad or irrelevant decision. All part of the drama of football.

Agreed, I’m sure there’s some research that’s relatively recent that basically dispels the myth that sacking works and that ‘new manager bounce’ is literally nothing more than a phrase used rather than fact…

Bradford are about to employ their 10th manager in a little over 5 seasons. They are still in league 2.

They looked a very poor side when we beat them . I was chatting to. Gillingham supporter while walking to the ground and although they were top he said they were excrement , couldn’t score and expected to get beat. Plummeted since then.

Probably get shot down for this but thank goodness for owners who don’t make knee jerk reactions
