I don’t know. Hughes the Loos has a bit going for it.

PH is now the 14th longest serving manager in top 4 leagues. Looking at list looks likely to be in the top 10 soon

I wonder if our Hollywood friends at Wrexham are tempted to offer him a job ,( Mark Hughes ) after all he is Welsh and Wrexham are not tearing any trees up in L2

Has Hughes ever been any good, really? He was never gonna succeed at Bradford, yet another club with an inflated ego, high wage bill yet fail every year…

I wonder how managers in lower divisions manage to get a mortgage. Do they have Trumps accountants ?

Always was going to be a bit of a risk on both parts.
Spent his entire career in top flight football across a number of countries, and even as a manager I think he only ever managed in the Premier League, so thought it was a bit of a risk to drop down to League Two where there isn't much money to spend, he's not familiar with the clubs, the players and the opposition, if it went wrong (which it has) there was always that risk that it may kill his career.
I'd be very surprised if we ever see him in the top flight or anywhere near it again.

A mate of mine at school had this goal in the form of one of those little animated flip books. In the days long before mobile phones etc. the idea of being able to slyly watch football under the classroom table was very novel to a 9-year old me. Kids these days don’t know they’re born.

He played 29 times for Blackburn in their 2000/01 First Division promotion season whilst also managing the Wales national team. I seem to remember he scored against us live on Sky Sports late in the season in a game where Danny Coyne made probably his only serious mistake during his time at Town letting in a tame shot.

I think the Cowley brothers will end up at Bradford or Gillingham, We'll just have to wait and see.
