It won’t be difficult to spot whoever is in goal anyway!

Certainly a better choice than the “football crowd grey” we opted for a few years back…

A little on the green side. Some older fans might remember the ‘green is unlucky’ sentiments which date back to the trawler man’s fear of a green wave. My mother, who was from a fishing family, would never allow us to wear green clothes.

So our plan this season is to blind the other team's forwards before they can score.

Given it’s the same kit worn by the Wrexham ‘keeper in the play-offs when we stuck 5 past them, I’m not convinced that will work.

We’ve been here before. It’s going to be covered in bugs for the first couple of games, then the keeper will switch to wearing the away/3rd/last seasons kit.

Isn’t this just the same shirt design from 21/22 in a slightly more green tinge with the new badge and new sponsor on?

Yet another lazy offer from Macron.

Hopefully, when the contract terminated we can find a better alternative, a cheeky Umbro number, they’ve been turning out relatively decent kit designs for a while.

I may have made this up completely but didn’t Andy Love wear a kit this colour when he played against Sheff Wednesday all those years ago?

Did Andy Love ever play against Wednesday? Jason Pearcey was in goal in the game at Hillsborough when they battered us and then Aidan Davison when we beat them over two legs. Both were wearing this number (not photos from actual game).

Prior to that, Paul Crichton has a season in bright yellow / green.

They don’t make them like they used to.

I’m sure I remember Andy Love wearing a bright number, Tuesday night game but intercourse knows who it was against.

Surely the best thing about the Jason Pearcey picture isn’t just the kit but those lotto boots…😍😍

In fact, those lotto kits are the last time we had a decent kit…

Might get one of these shirts. It can double up as a high viz when I'm on site or out on my bike.

Batchy nearly always wore green.

He played a number of games in 98-99 so would have played in the yellow and orange or the pink and purple hooped goalkeeper shirt.

Pearcey played in the home leg against Wednesday because Davison was away on international duty, think he picked up an injury whilst away which ruled him out until just before the next international window.

Pearcey's record that season was near impeccable.  5 games, 1 goal conceded.

That kit, however, is anything but impeccable.

Without wanting to get into the argument about Collins' should have checked and god knows what McKeown was doing all the way out there, but that grey kit does blend in a bit doesn't it??

I had to glance twice at the video to see where he was!
