PH said he hoped that the new signings would be completed by now. Not fully there yet but not a bad place to be.

You’re correct, have just walked past the training ground with the dog and the car park is busy. The season now seems closer and am looking forward to seeing the new team in action.

Are we taking bets on who’ll get crocked in the annual Clee Town Leg-Breaker derby?

It's usually some sort of a semi-catastrophic muscle injury or two, isn't it? Always blamed on the 'hard pitch'.

We got a stacked pre season schedule of matches as well did we have 7 last season?

With no real keepers on the books, the strikers should be enjoying training!

We have 7 lined up this season including Port Vale in Spain.
First game v Grimsby Borough next week!

Are there likely to be Trialists around during pre season to fill out the squad for the fixtures or does our new focused recruitment strategy mean everyone through the door has been analysed and identified well in advance

Hurst's never been a big fan of trialists has he. Last one I remember signing was Craig Clay (although I am most likely wrong on that!).

Hope most of the lads have kept themselves in relative good nick over the summer. Some in the professional ranks (football in general) keep themselves in better shape than others doing extra training  and the like after a short vacation of 1-2 weeks and not really caning the alcohol.Likewise a good pre season sets up some players well for the season baring injuries.

19 plus Braithwaite, Bramwell, Essel and Tomlinson.  Khouri included in the 19.

Good to see though in recent times  the training complex has undergone improvements.

Had lunch sat out in the yard behind the training ground, even got to kick a ball back and hit it as sweet as a nut right into Hursts feet which got a thumbs up from the gaffer ;D

Couldn't work out who they were but we had four goalkeepers out there today so i would say an announcement is imminent on that front, plenty of camera activity
