Released in 15 minutes. Have to say, I’m ridiculously excited about this - haven’t looked forward to a season like this in years.

Must be the first season that someone hasn't claimed that the fixtures have been leaked before the official announcement.

Which poster will win the race to be the first to copy and paste them on here?

Did we have a sweep for that?

Maybe something for next season Les?

Seems like decades ago since we were at home on Boxing Day.

Nice to be home first game of the season for a change (the first time since 2018, I think). Some serious front-loading of the better away days; almost all the good ones fall this side of the new year (with the exception of Harrogate, which falls on my wife’s birthday).

On a personal note I’m going to miss County and Walsall away as I’ll be on holiday, but on the whole this looks like one of the better fixture lists we’ve had in a very long time.

Bradford at home Easter Monday.....that could be a good crowd

Don't the club request an away fixture boxing day ....... because they seem to think they lose potential  crowd to market Rasen races

I'm on holiday for the first 2 weeks of the season, was hoping I'd miss Walsall or someone at BP. Instead I miss 3 home games and Notts County away ffs! ;D

If we can turn in to a  team with good home form it’s a real chance to get off to a flyer.

Means we're playing Wimbledon at home 2 games on the trot!!

Wowza!
Are away fixtures at the start of the season are a nightmare!  :D

We’ll sell out most home games this season……
Posted by: diehardmariner, June 22, 2023, 9:44am; Reply: 16
I think on paper that looks a tough start. Gotta play everyone twice regardless though.

Get off to a flyer and let everyone else play catch up. intercourse 'em.

If Notts open up the whole away stand for Grimsby I will never hear the end of it 🙄
Posted by: ska face, June 22, 2023, 9:52am; Reply: 19
Now I’m no marketing strategist, but I’d be telling people that Notts usually let you have about 2000, 1200 at Wrexham & 2500 at Bradford, so you’ve ZERO chance of seeing an away match (that isn’t some døgshit like Walsall) until the end of Sept unless you’ve got a season ticket.

Maybe looks on paper a tough away start, but some teams take a while to gel with all the additions - good time to play them I reckon. Looks tough, could be a great start if we hit the ground running though!

Anyone know who Scunthorpe are playing? Can't see them on the list

Probably best they work out where they’re playing first.

Why wouldn't you for a League game that isn't Family Day tickets for a fiver?

Posted by: OddShapedBalls, June 22, 2023, 10:24am; Reply: 25
Honestly can't see an easy run of games in all that, I definitely think it'll be a tougher league on paper this year but my heart says hard start to the season but an easier run-in at the end so we can do a city and be close all season then shift up a gear and run away with the title at the end......ahhh, dreams eh.

Last season was Orient away. We played well but lost to an iffy pen and a wonder goal.

A win this year will put us on the right track for a good start.

Tough start, but on the other hand we get to play some of the best sides before everyone has seen us play much

I'm just glad to see fixtures against teams like Bradford, Notts County etc etc, not Borehamwood and Bromley. We could still easily be in non league.

It's a tough looking league, but we will compete as Hurst teams always do.

Looking forward to it.

List illustrates what a tough League it is this year difficult to find an easy run of games anywhere but the opening 8 looks very tough

If we are there or thereabouts the last 4 seem winnable.

Was just thinking that, what a tough and exciting start.

Be great if we can start well against them.

To avoid Barrow away in midweek we had to agree to give up the Good Friday home slot...

I think Barrow are expanding their away end aren't they - so a few walks in the Lake District can be planned?

So first game Wimbledon at home, hopefully the away fans will be put in the corner of the osmond and Town fans will get behind the goal.

Ok..So on first look I can do 6 away games.
But the New year 2024 I could "jiggle" and play with my work holiday allocation to squeeze a couple  more in too.
Crawley away last game of the season right up my street 25 mins door to door thank you but not everyone's "Cuppa tea!"  So Don't annilate me with "Red X's!" 🙄 Happy Days

As it stands I should be making 1 home game and 6 away. I should build on that as it comes closer etc but I'll be watching every single game with hope and faith. This is going to be a season to remember.
