Seems like a very professional setup. The Pakistan FA tweeted the half time score but didn't bother with the full time update lol

Must be bloody tough to fly out there midweek then try to impress in your first international game, playing with 10 lads you only met a couple of days ago.  Regardless of the level that's a big ask!

It's alright bringing a couple of professionals over who have grown up in England, gone through the academy system and now play professionally like Khan and Suliman, but they need to become a lot more professional in all areas it seems.

Why has my celebratory meal got anything to do with a national dish? What are you implying?

He might well end up our most capped player if they call him up again next year, as they seem to have a few fixtures while he's out there 5 I think

Imagine if he bags a goal or two, what international goalscorers do we have?  I imagine that's a rarefied list!

Looking at Pakistan's record, apparently their defeat against Nepal in November was their first game since June 2019, apparently they were suspended big FIFA for 2021-22.

You've got to go back September 2018 to look for their last victory which was a 3-0 win over Bhutan.

Some of the nations who've beaten them over past years included The Maldives, Palestine, Cambodia, Yemen and Bangladesh.

At 195th in the FWR Khan is going to be up against it.

Always staggered me how large nations such as India and Pakistan are that poor at football they are often beaten by small island nations.

I’d say that home grown talent would be swept up by sports like cricket and kabadi (if you ever used to watch trans world sport you’ll know what it is!)

A few observations here:

They don't appear to have a major brand as kit manufacturer, that pitch is an absolute carpet compared to the terrible surface the PFF tweeted them training on, and Otis's frayed socks!

He appears to be something of the poster boy for them at the mo, he's certainly prominent in their twitter stuff. Hope he bags a goal at some point.

Lets just hope that with his greatly reduced break between season end and pre-season, due to the Pakistan call up, that he doesn't end up injured, or has a burn-out early in the season.

Pakistan got stuffed again 3-1, but Khan set up their goal by running into the box and forcing a save from the keeper which some other lad scuffed over the line. It's tragic how bad some of his teammates are!

let's hope he's picked up by some Gulf state premier league side who are quite happy to for out £250,00 for him!

Daft decisions have been made based off a few good international appearances before, you never know, OK7 could be the next big brand down that way....

It's not unusual for players from Asia and Africa to earn a ridiculous number of caps because they do seem to play more games via regional tournaments within their wider region. Pakistan just played in the Four Nation Cup before going to the SAFF Championships which is for the 7 southern teams within AFC.

Otis is a good player for us and he is likely to miss a large chunk of pre-season, but with Crocombe leaving we could do with another 2 internationals through the door so that we can postpone games during the international break. Abo Eisa is Sudanese and has been called up before. It wouldn't be a bad strategy to position ourselves as a club that helps players with links to nations earn national recognition, because it has the potential to really lift our global platform.

India v Pakistan is streaming here right now (10 minutes in):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-fp7IVJPzE

Pakistan's keeper has just passed it straight to India's striker for him to slot into an empty net. Outside of a few players they look like a Sunday League team. Khan's their best player by miles.

Now there's a monsoon and India's coach has instigated a massive brawl by knocking the ball out of the hand of a Pakistan lad while he was mid-way through taking a throw in. Lovely stuff.

lmao the ref's just sent India's coach off after all that, this is great entertainment

I wonder if Otis has been asked to eye up the opposition each time for any decent players..........because there certainly arent any playing with him in the Pakistan team.

He must be so proud to represent his country, but he must also be so embarrassed that they are so excrement.
