Love Macca to bits but I’m surprised he’s landed that job.

I don’t want this to sound like I’m calling the bloke because I’m not, he’ll always be a proper legend to me. His non playing days probably haven’t lived up to his playing career, he’s coached at the college, Scunny’s academy, then had a few jobs at the likes of Alfreton, Boston, Clee Town and recently Buxton, so I’m just surprised he’s landed a director of football role at a now established League Two club. Good on him if he has though and I wish him well.

He was assistant manager at Harrogate for years, wasn't he? Did he manage them as well? Some sort of a role there.

He did, you’re right. Guess that’s where the link is then.

Good luck to him, he'll always be a Town legend. Hope he does well there, apart from when they play us.

Agree Dave , Macca is town through and through so he will be on the fence when they play us.

Hoping for a couple of draws maybe.

Does that mean all the Muslims will be praying towards us then?
