Swann on the basis that he used the ground to hold the club to ransom and he bled the club dry as soon as it went mammaries up on the pitch. He was more nefarious than Fenty. That's not to say Fenty was solely incompetent and not without villainy though. Of course his entire era was one of bumbling incompetence littered with disdain for the fans, however he still called his benign loans in ensuring his shadow loomed over us while we were celebrating the takeover and beyond. Worth noting that Swann left them in a much worse state as well. If Bad Chairman Top Trumps was a thing Fenty would score higher on Ineptitude, Swann would be higher on Criminality and they'd both be top tier cards for Ego.

Why the need to keep on dragging this up every other week? History is History and you cannot change it. I'm sick and tired of people raking over old coals. Let it go. We are in a good place now so look to the future

Spot on! You learn from the past but you don't need to keep regurgitating it.

Let’s face it, this is likely to be the only poll that JSF is going to do well in.

Fenty.

Swann put £11m into Scunny, not a single fan of theirs complained, and at the end he might get £3.5m back. Net personal loss around £7.5m, in simple terms.

Fenty put £2.5m in, got £2.5m back, held the new owners to ransom over future income from transfers, oh, and relegated us countless times. Net loss? Zero.

So it’s Fenty.

Isn‘t this one of those races where you hope they can both loose?
