Because you have weird local lad fantasies that sees you spend an obsessive amount of time watching reserves and youth games while making profiles for every young player and talking about how they'll be the next big thing. If one of our young players was any good they wouldn't be on our books anyway.

I feared the worst on 30 mins as Luton started to dominate but we’ve weathered it well and somehow now lead.

I know last season was a bit mad, but the next 45 mins could be one of the biggest in our recent history

Oh my lord how the we going in 1-0? Absolutely defending for their lives throughout that half. Was praying we could get in 0-0 but to go 1-0 is mental  ;D come on lads if we can hold onto this (which is a huge task) it would be absolutely massive.

Yes. Apart from the needless fouls, he's had some nice touches. Holohan playing well and Efete seems much more confident. Both going forward and defensively.

Great match to watch, not so good for the blood pressure but a great show of desire from Clifton to come straight back and score after we went behind and great for the team to hold out and get a deserved replay. Had they managed to score in the near 10 minutes of injury time it would have felt like a kick in the nuts.

Well played town fought very well and defended brilliant, should they have had a penalty? I don't think it was.

This is why I love Town.  I have lost count of how many times they have made me proud.

I'm often critical but I enjoyed watching that. A performance to be proud of, work-rate, commitment determination etc etc, just what we as fans expect, well done.

Andy Smith - faultless and immense

Hunt - brave on the ball and looked better against higher quality opposition

Orsi - ran himself into the ground and was a real, intelligent nuisance in the second half.

Sounded like the ref was a bit too keen to be part of the show.

Unbelievable performance and result - especially given the threadbare squad. Just shows what you can achieve against the odds with a little belief when everyone puts a shift in.

Must admit I thought it was game over when we went 2-1 down so was delighted to be proven wrong.

Chuffed for the players, Hurst and the travelling hordes who were in fine voice.

I met a Luton fan in the pub last night, by chance, who told me they hate going to BP as they always get smashed.

Well I was one of many who said they weren't going to Luton yet again when the draw was made.

Of course I went and what a great day out it was. My only disappointment was that we didn't nick it at the end. One of my happier hunting grounds over time.

That is at least eleven visits over forty years and that ground has got steadily worse. On the other plus side  I found a great cafe after years of trying!
