Has anyone else logged into their GTFC ticket account and found that they have their season ticket reserved for next season already?

Decent price as well, not sure if that's set in stone, reserved until 21/07/2022.

Yeah I noticed that.

For those who can't see/haven't seen:  My adult ticket in the Main Stand is reserved at £260 for 2022/23   Last year was about £340.

If that is the price to be set (not saying it is either!) then fair play to the club as that'll be a huge gesture!

My adult ticket in the lower is also reserved at the same price.

Showing as £286 for the upper for me, which is mad if it is the actual price

Where abouts on the website is it showing as I can’t find mine reserved?
Posted by: Grantham_Mariner, May 17, 2022, 11:23am; Reply: 5
Mine (Over 65) last year was £168.75, on site as £169.00      (a .25p increase)
Son's (Adult) last year was £255.00, on site as £260.00      (a £5 increase)

If these ARE the prices thats great, well done GTFC. But I have a feeling that they might not be so don't get too excited yet.

Could it be some legacy from the start of this season when ST prices where reduced by 20% or 10% depending on whether you had bought an ST for the Covid season and the website is not properly updated for next season yet?

I can't see them being reduced for next season.

Many thanks Brigg Mariner! £260, very happy with that but I’ll believe it when it happens! UTM!

The system wasn’t in place for those prices was it? It wouldn’t surprise me if they were the right prices - would be a good PR move with cost of living etc and a good way to hook those thinking of maybe not renewing back in. Let’s hope they are right!

I would also think that next season they'll sort out the numbers in the league (if we're still in The National League that is) so you'll get 1 extra game for your money next season.

Hopefully it won't apply to us though.

Surely if the club had significantly reduced season ticket prices there would have been an announcement to that effect.

Be brilliant to get 4000+ sth and to be fair I think at those prices we would.

Most likely that this will be the case when we know what league we are in, I just stumbled across this this-morning while waiting for Notts County tickets.

Just a caution.

Those might be renewal prices. New STHs might be charged more.

Or those prices might be completely wrong.

Taken down now, you can no longer see them.

Probably quite likely that it was just to sort the issue of validity for County ticket purchases.

But it's the pricing that's the interesting bit.

New prices haven't been announced yet. Probably waiting until we know what league we will be in. Are those last season's prices?

It seems the prices are 13 multiplied by the price of an individual match ticket.

If that’s correct and standard across all ticket types that would mean…

Upper…
Adult:13 matches x £22 = £286
65+ & 18-22: 13 matches x £15 = £195
Unaccompanied Junior (12-17): 13 matches x £8 = £104
Accompanied Junior (3-17): 13 matches x £7 = £91

Pontoon, Main & Lower…
Adult:13 matches x £20 = £260
65+, 18-22 & Students: 13 matches x £13 = £169
Unaccompanied Junior (12-17): 13 matches x £7 = £91
Accompanied Junior (3-17): 13 matches x £5 = £65

I guess we’ll find out shortly if those prices for ST renewals are correct & what prices are for new STHs.

10 matches free seems like an unbelievable deal. So much so that it's too good to be true!

No flipping way are they giving us 10 free home games…if they do then crack on but I really can’t see that…I expect my season ticket to go up in price.

It does. Jason seemed to indicate a new pricing structure when he was interviewed by Matt Dean last week so I'm inclined to believe it might be true as the prices I've cobbled together definitely have a clear structure to them.

Any repricing structure will be aimed at increasing revenue not decreasing it by 20%. Just another routine member up , wake up .

Maybe they want to try and reach out and attract more fans, if true anyway, don't forget Aldi these aren't the old regime, who would have probably put up the price lol.

Those prices would be an increase on what we paid last season when the club gave a 20% discount to 2020/21 STHs and offered a further 5% discount to Trust members, Lottery participants and NHS & Armed Forces personnel.

We paid Adult £255 (£340 minus 25%), OAP £168.75 (£225 minus 25%) & £40 Junior. TOTAL £463.75.

The price structure I cobbled together is... Adult £260 (+£5), OAP £169 (+£0.25) & Junior £65 (+£25). TOTAL £494 (an increase of 6.4%).

We'll see.

As I pointed out, those prices would represent an increase for myself and many others on the season just ended. You are working on the belief that the club will sell exactly the same amount of season tickets that they did last season. I think we should be targeting 4,000 ST sales minimum.

Charging existing STHs the equivalent of 13 match tickets & new STHs the equivalent of maybe 15 or 16 might well achieve that and see a good increase in ST revenue.
