4-4-2 or will Abrahams play from wide?

Strong looking bench now.

Trying to figure out what formation we are using, 4-4-2? but then who goes left wing.  Or is it 4-312 ,with JMD as RCM?

First time this season we field a No 9. Let hope he does the business as we all know a town No
9 can do. Welcome Tristan.

Bit stuck if we lose a CB today but I like the attacking intent.

I think it will be similar to the usual formation with Abraham's coming from wider though he'll probably tuck in more than Sousa. Maybe wanting to match Bromley's physicality a bit more.

Clifton could probably play there in a pinch. It's nice to feel like we have subs who could come on and make an impact, just hope if they are needed Hurst uses one of them before the last 5 minutes unless he has to because of injury.  ;D

Smith would play at cb and then guess Clifton at right back.

Really our own worst enemy when mistakes like this lead to them getting back in it. Seemed like they had both the fans and players rattled with their gamesmanship, we always seem to face teams who are good at conning the ref and winding us up. When we try to do anything the ref is straight there throwing the book at us but they can fake injury then taunt the fans after getting a player booked and none of the officials touch them.

Their manager constantly whinging to the officials and trying to control the game. Seems like another manager who knows several famous people in the game, somehow they always have their way with referees lol. Gotta get the kids those England autographs from best mate Southgate.

He was never going to be any good was he. If you canā€™t get into a low, crap league two team what makes anyone think he was going to be the answer?  (donā€™t mention Futch)
Cheap option as usual. New chairmen. No change.

Think Crofty summed it up perfectly. We lost two players at half time. JMD (to injury poss) and Mcatee
by moving him out wide from the hole where he is, and was,  more effective. Leaving it for as long as he did was unforgivable from Hurst.

Yes. That's what we've had for 20 years and spending a load of money we don't have on 'community' projects isn't going to help improve things on the pitch

What community projects that were not already being delivered.

Fan Zone was underway and delivered by the trust. The glass screens 200k down the drain. Boardroom revamp a vanity project, and not to mention the charger for the chairmanā€™s car and then 40k to run the irrigation from the phone.

Whereā€™s the community in that.

I dont think having a go at the new owners is really fair any time soon, were just a badly coached team who knew how to win and attack until they had it coached out of them. I can even see why they approved hurst at that moment in time (though id hope if the circumstances were different theyd have gone with someone else)

The trouble is that in hurst weve kept a tie to the fenty era and all those old frustrations with that time and hursts style remain, I feel like if we'd had a new fresh manager this season we'd all feel alot more relaxed about this season

I'm not sure about that, we started very well, but did other teams just start poorly? You look at how the table has shifted and it's not only us that's shifted up or down.
