Was more to the situation with him and Bignot than just being dropped and he caused issues for more than one player including Henderson who he dropped Macca for. But I guess it sounds better if he requested a transfer just because he got dropped.

Given Macca’s weakness from distance, Mercury might be a better fit.

If anything, the one thing Crocombe does is look to move the ball quicker than Macca, he doesn't wait until the team are set up at the half way line then just blast to nobody!..
On a negative he's slow on his feet and looked weak with the punch and as far as rumours go, typical fishy boll@x.."Macca gets dropped and I've heard this rumour but I can't say what"...yawn, yawn, yawn..

I didn't think Crocombe gave us anything above and beyond McKeown. We looked very vulnerable to crosses but I wouldn't blame Crocombe for that.

I’d argue that had Macca performed the way Crocombe did geysers there’d be people falling over themselves to slag him off.

You can argue that he’s not started many and like any player needs to become accustomed to playing but he wasn’t any better or worse…

he looked very iffy imho, both in his positioning and his decision making. He looked like a disaster waiting to happen. What's eastwood up to?

Thought Crocombe did fine yesterday, dunno what everyone's moaning about. Made some nice saves - was being fouled constantly when they had corners and set pieces, but the ref was too weak to do anything about it. Only minor gripe is that he wasn't very fast off his line to close down the 1 on 1 for their third, but the primary responsibility for that goal (alongside the other two) has to go to the defenders for allowing the opportunity in the first place.

Crocombe pulled off some good saves yesterday and his kicking was very good. Wasn't helped much by his defence.

I have also heard the rumour and I've told the person who told me that it is balderdash. He was dropped for his performances especially the one at Solihull it's as simple as that!
