Yeah sorry my mistake.

The competition is a knockout tournament with pairings drawn at random. However, the qualifying round draws and the 1st Round proper draw are regionalised to reduce teams' travel costs

We also played Bognor Regis Town and St Albans City but not at this stage.

Bognor Regis still talk about Amond's penalty!

Players last time were selfish and saw it as a big thing. It's nothing to us, I was embarassed to be in it last time and couldn't care less when losing two finals at Wembley. It's all about the league and getting back to the EFL. `

Bloody selfish players, wanting to play at Wembley and win Trophies!

If only they'd played like they did in the final in the first round!

Looking at the number of red crosses inot a popular opinion personally I will only Watch a game of football in which I’m interested in the result.
I went to Wembley to see these finals as well  and truly did not give a toss if we won or lost . I will not go this time. I would not go to the vase games if they were free!

If we had fallen so far to be in the FA Vase I doubt many would be watching.

The timing of the Trophy could be ideal to finally get some minutes for the likes of Scannell and Grant.

Already looking forward to them being described as like a new signing.

The club are trying to arrange a training game this week to give the stiffs a run out.

I'm assuming the draw is on Sky Sports News? Anyone know what time?

Not sure if it's on Sky but it's at 1pm.

To be fair I don't mind the trophy, there seems to be an element of the support who think it's beneath us but if it means that some clubs could come to us and see it as a "bid day out" and we get to use the squad like we did versus Bromsgrove then I don't think it's a bad thing.

The draw is usually live on Talksport between all the gambling adverts.

Yes it is. The draw is regionalised.

Oh and bizarrely Needham Market are the most northern club in the Southern Section of the draw.

Just to clarify...

THE DRAW IS REGIONALISED.

The Grimsby Telegraph is wrong. I imagine their confusion is because until 2019/20 season the last 64 was called Round 1 and that was the final regionalised round. Last season the rounds were renumbered so that the last 64 was called Round 3 and it was/is still regionalised.

Good draw I thought? Good ground, not too far away, direct train... we got moved to a Tuesday night for the league away fixture by BT, so chance to go there at 3pm on Saturday

I don't mind if they are in form as I don't care that much for the trophy, as a day out tho it's a good un

I have No interest at all in the Trophy or going to a quarter filled Wembley to see it , the only thing that matters now is promotion.
If Hurst can manage to get to the final by playing the reserves then fair play but none of our first team players should be playing in these games

The NL clubs don't take the FA Trophy seriously anymore. There's only been 1 finalist from step 5 in the last 2 seasons. And last season was won by an Isthmian Premier league side.

Will County play their first team or rest players to concentrate on the league?  Are their reserves and youth players better than ours?

Doubt either team will play their first eleven.

Record number of own goals, players not feigning injury and refusing to go down when touched, goal keepers rushing to take goal kicks when 1:0 up, players not trying to score when there’s a suspicion of offside. And players booked for dissent - when the ref DOESN’T give a decision in favour of the opposition.

I despised the competition last time around because it was so disruptive. Now they have got rid of replays it's less of an issue. Yes, the league is a priority, but it's scheduled to take place on Saturdays so is not the season killer it once was with all those midweek replays which wiped out league games.

Could be a few own goals, penalties and penalty misses in this one. ;)
