Can’t see them needing to change anything

The EFL starts 55 days after this season’s NL Promotion Final (Sunday 5th June).

To out that in context this season the Town players reported for preseason training on Friday 2nd July ahead of the season starting on Saturday 21st August (50 days later).

Hope all the air conditioning systems breakdown so they have to abandon it. Stupid fūcking idea holding it in a desert.

There are no air conditioning systems. That was their idea to win the bid for a June/July tournament and then backtracked which is why it’s in November & December when the temperature is hot but bearable.

Didn’t they fiddle the thermometer readings so they didn’t have to stop construction when it went above 50 degrees C?

Wouldn’t put it past them to fiddle the winter temperatures to make it appear cool enough.

There’s been that much fiddling that Prince Andrew and Steve Evans are duetting at the opening ceremony.

With that eye-liner, the locals will think Steve is El Urens come back from the dead.

The play off finalists are always at a disadvantage when it comes to planning, recruitment and rest but that is nuts. I seem to recall Hurst saying pre-season was a week longer than usual this year so the winning play-off finalists can have a week in a caravan before reporting back for 6 weeks of pre-season training.

Won’t they be sick of the sight of each by the time pre-season starts?
