Any truth in the rumours of this being played on the Friday night?

I can’t imagine it would be picked for TV. Having said that it did occurs to me that there were no minnows hosting the bigger League 1 clubs. i.e. the sort of games usually picked for TV.

The only definite TV picks imo are Lincoln vs Pitsea and Sudbury vs Colchester. Salford vs whoever they got too obviously but nothing sticks out.

Not sure about Lincoln. Definitely if they were away.

Plymouth v Sheff Wed
Bolton v Stockport
Kings Lynn v Walsall
Boston/Stratford v Shrewsbury

It would be ridiculous if it was on a Friday night, like I highly doubt it will be a televised game

Birmingham at home on the Saturday, if the rumour’s true could this be why?

I hope not, I don’t fancy driving to Kiddy from Blackburn before heading back to Gy for the weekend, fingers crossed for Saturday 🤞 UTM

Tier 8 vs Previous FA Cup darlings has to be televised. It’s a pub team…at home to non-league opposition.

I could see why they’d choose scunts v donny; local derby, club in trouble, potential upset. Would be a strange decision though!

We all know that Salford are nailed on to be on tv

If this is on the Friday evening , it's adding fuel to the fire ( In my opinion ) that someone somewhere doesn't want the black and white army travelling to many places...  or is it just me thinking that way  ?
Keeping fingers x'd it's on the Saturday !!!

The people in charge of picking the games for TV won’t think of it as a derby…

Salford will no doubt be on…

Trying to predict which games get picked is hard work though, never seems to be any rhyme or reason…

They will probably pick those which they hope will bring in most revenue for the TV company, beit ads or sell on values.

Reckon there's more chance it'll be moved to Sunday if the BBC are still doing the thing where they semi-televise like 10 matches and show the goals and chances in each as they happen.
