Could get messy

I think that Town have been so lucky this season with the takeover by proven businessmen, with no false promises, and feet on the ground as to fan and player needs.

A stadium will only go ahead when all planning permissions, commercial contracts, sponsorships and location liability have been fully researched and is going to be built on a professional basis.

Other less well run clubs may go under if similar honest businessmen cannot be found.

Rochdale and Oldham to keep scunny up. That’ll be their saving grace.

The north west seems to be a hotbed for lower league, basket case clubs at the minute. Bury and Macclesfield already gone, and now Oldham and seemingly Rochdale on the brink.

It saddens me what’s going on in the lower echelons of football right now, and not just because Oldham and Rochdale going under would offer Scunny a reprieve.

Maybe Alex May will step in and save them.

It says Morton House are refusing to co-operate with the EFL inquiry. Nothing dodgy about that then!

Hopefully an extra promotion place for our league will be created.

There would only be extra promotion places if three league clubs folded.

Alex May only has an affinity with clubs in what he defines as the East Midlands.

If he liked clubs in the North West, I'm sure he would have had the keys to one by now given how bad the ownership of clubs in that region appears to be.

They can have the Dream Team to take them over. DisMay, Honest John and Shalloway!
