10pm officially released by the club. 10:30 for matchday moments.

What happened to the BT highlights show? I watched a couple of them before, but when I tried to watch the one from Saturday, it said I needed a subscription.

Just watched them.

The sending off was farcical - his head could not get out of the way, much like the opposition defender on the line with his hand earlier.

No point in appealing, so move on - we won !!

Third goal was a thing of beauty.

Bapaga scored with his left foot again and his sending off was baffling.

Denied a goal with a clear handball.

Great support and great performance.

It totally missed the 2 1 on 1 chances we had between their 2 goals

Aye, Super Johnny could've had a hat-trick (that handball header was a sitter really!).

The third goal is glorious (trots out ancient chestnut about team x and tv programme y)

We must be watching a different video On the one I have just seen Bapaga clearly jumped feet off the floor as the bloke threw it. Correct decision (stupid as the rule is) I'm afraid

I don't think you can appeal a sending off with two yellow cards.

Yeah on reflection it was definitely a second yellow
Only about 1m away and he jumps to head the ball and blocks it

Preferred the Matchday Moments to the highlights.

Altrincham's highlights a better version.

I still think it’s harsh. It’s similar to when a play stands in front of the ball to prevent a quick free kick and the players just kicks it at them - you see that all the time but no one ever gets booked for it.

Bapaga did what every other pro player in the land would do.

The ball goes out right next to him. He starts to jockey back into a defensive position but the throw is taken so quickly and aimed straight at him, what on earth could he have done??

It is entirely different to when other players have been booked for deliberately going towards the thrower, trying to disrupt the throw by standing close or jumping more or less as the thrower takes it. He was retreating, jumping is instinctive and for the ref to give a second yellow for that is diabolical.

The idea that any player can hurl the ball at the nearest opposition player to get them booked is absurd.

Just seen the longer (and clearer quality) Alty highlights and now agree that the booking that got Bapaga sent off was justified, albeit still very suss on their player's part as it clearly shows he aimed at Bapaga deliberately.

That longer video is a lot clearer and the commentators do agree that Town were taking Alty apart prior to the sending off, and they were also bemused when it happened.

The first yellow Bapaga got was ridiculous, though.

If you gave a yellow for stuff like that in a Premier League match, it'd be 6-a-side before half-time. (It's on the Alty highlights)

I thought the first booking was ridiculously soft on the nite, watching again on the highlights its an even worse decision, truly bizarre. I bet there was more manhandling of players at every corner in the game, right in front of goal, yet that at the halfway line gets a booking! Normally wouldn't matter but in that match it means a sending off later in the game and very nearly cost us 2 or even 3 points. I am quite sure it did cost us a considerable goal difference bounce too and who knows how important that might be at the end of the season...

Don't know why the quality on our highlights
should be less it looks like footage from the same camera.

The Alty camera is on the other side of the pitch I think, realised when it showed the opposite angle to Cliftons goal. Their coverage was very good I thought maybe our cameraman didn’t get given the same facilities.

They may have had two cameras one for Altrincham and one for  BT I am sure I saw the Town camera crew in the main stand as I was walking through.
