Honesty in management comes across really well. No wonder his players are performing well for him.

Polar opposites from the other Phil Parkinson.

It's good that teams like Alty are trying to play football, instead of the usual cloggers you often get at this level, so hats off to him.

He'll be destined for bigger things I reckon.

Great stuff. I had never heard of him till yesterday, but what a refreshingly honest and open interview, and complimentary about us.

This chap is a credit to his club and looks destined for better things.

I wonder if Wrexham's American owners heard good things about a Phil Parkinson? Oops!  ;D

Get a tag on him for when Paul Hurst and his entourage are lured away from us again either next season or the season after.

Eloquent yet humble - a great combination.

Gracious knowledgeable manager, no sour grapes and realised that we were too good.

That bloke sounds like he knows his stuff and they way he has altincham playing he could be a manager to really push them and his career on. Good luck to him.

Fair play, could’ve moaned, could’ve had excuses but gracious in defeat and credit to them for getting back in it and trying to play rather than just hoofing it and trying not to lose…

Or when they are sacked

Very classy interview.

Interesting that he regards us as champions elect. That is independent verification of just how good we are at the moment.

To be fair at times they looked a really good footballing side and it made for a very good game.

Think Paul is here for the long haul with us he’s tasted the grass in the bigger fields and now with sympathetic owners that are forward thinking it would have to be a good offer to lure him away this time

Class. Wish him and Alty all the best, hope they go upp with us 😉 😂

Also sounds like he didn’t really agree with the sending off ‘ we’ve had things go against us, but this one went for us ‘

Top bloke hope he goes far in the game.

It was not only PP singing our praises. Have you heard the commentary team on their highlights. They also have so much praise for us. It made a massive change from the usual vitriol we get from other teams commentary teams.

I think Altrincham have become my favourite 'other' team now

Cant recall an opposing manager being so gracious after a game. Said good things about us and also said how proud he was of his own side and what his club have achieved. They are normally so biased about they're views of a game and every decision that goes for/against them

Top man said it how it was, good luck to him and Alti for the future

For once, fair and complimentary post match comments from the opposing manager.
