Just contemplating how things would’ve gone if Bromley was our first actual game of the season? I thought they looked nervous against Weymouth and took time to settle in. Did think at the time how important it was to win that. The pressure was obvious. Don’t think we’d have got a result against Bromley and that would have had the same repercussions.

Might turn out to be huge…

If but and maybes, get the point but it’s no fluke what we are achieving right now UTFM

Its an interesting point to make - getting a win against Weymouth was important but I think the last minute goal against Barnet really sparked things.  Town usually implode at home when the big crows are there - for me that felt like a sliding-doors moment.

Looking forward to the Bromley game - although just realised what a pain in the bottom it is to get to - even from Cannon Street where I work....  of course from Grimsby it is a royal pain in the bottom for a midweeker.,

I live on the other side of London and it’s 20 miles by car.  I had to go there last night and it took over 90 mins.  I could almost get to Bristol or Birmingham in that time.

It’s a quality team and we’d have got there, but I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted the start we’ve made. It’s all fine margins and perhaps this has been a bit of good fortune for once.

Makes you wonder how many we will take?

Bromley will be no pushover, played 6, won 3, drawn 1, lost 2.
