For all of us living outside of England... I`m saying, on behalf of all of us, F**K BT SPORTS! F**K `EM!
WHY can`t we be allowed the chance to watch Grimsby Town? We`ll gladly pay a lot to watch the wonderful rise of the club from the ashes - but NO... THIS is the reason why people find "alternative" ways of watching football.
Shame on you, BT SPORTS! I`m now beginning a campaign where I`m gonna flood them with mail until they yield... Please join me in this - DEMAND that the National League TV coverage is moved from the mentality of the 1800s and into this century!
And again - F**k BT Sports! I`ll arrange a viking crusade against them. The F**kers...
Sorry for the rant - had to vent some frustration here...

Great first half, the only thing you could complain about was not playing to the whistle for Wrexhams goal, weather it was a foul or not.

Clifton as always all over the place, defence, attack, tea room, you name it he's there.

Sousa, Taylor and McAtee are linking up well.

We just need to make sure we don't switch off and keep up the pressure on Wrexham in the 2nd half

Every match with ifollow. The quote from the NL about BT is 'The broadcaster’s incredible commitment to the competition'.

That apart we're doing well again tonight coming back from a goal down. The noise the fans are making is fantastic and another goal will see them off.

No technical or commercial reason why someone in Norway shouldn’t be able to watch a live game from England.

coz Kristine says the crowd is calculated on how many people physically enter the ground - the 3100 season tickets holders don't automatically count. i didn't know that.
we obviously have a large number of season ticket holders who are exiles/working/on holiday

I am a little concerned that we seem a little unsure defensively so far this season and have rose our luck at times, probably just a case of players still getting to know each other, i'm sure we will look more solid as the season goes on!

We're 2 - 1 up against the league,s big spenders and favourites. If that's negative well you're listening to a different match to me. As for JT he might not be the best but listen to the dross last year ( Harrogate, Exeter away etc) he's pretty good.

I enjoy listening to JT. He's a town fan through and through, conveys the emotion and feeling of the game well in his voice, describes the game well & gives a good bit of analysis and can be quite funny at times (albeit you need to have quite a dry sense of humour!). He's never going to be the best working for a smallish local radio station but he'd be hard to replace.

How good was Waterfall tonight, colossus
Posted by: DB, September 14, 2021, 10:11pm; Reply: 118
As I recall reading, Wright spends more time injured than playing, Macca needs replacing and Waterfall is good for an own goal (or 2). And let's not forget Hurst doesn't know what he's doing and should have gone months ago, O and why hasn't he got a No9 as we need a goalscorer as the others won't be up to it. Not to mention we couldn't score at Stockport.

So where does this type of castigation leave us? After all the futures going to be bleak.

Big spenders Stockport and Wrexham didn't beat us and are 10th and 8th while we are 4th. We are 1 of only 5 unbeaten teams in the league and both big spenders have lost. Then of course we have scored 10 goals in 3 games and came from behind in the last 3 games to win.

And what about the support, the best attendances for decades.

Jason, Andrew, Paul, and Debbie are proving all the doubters wrong and their methods of working are right. An improvement in match experience and fantastic performances on the pitch. I'm not saying we're going to win every game but our future looks very good with a return to the EFL becoming ever more a reality.

It's time for all negativity to be left behind and look forward to the future and enjoy the present. It's not just breathtaking but in a different league to the last regime.

Yes this is a forum and all are welcome to their opinions, but after 5 games I fail to see why any true fan can be negative.

UTM and 3 points again on Saturday, bring on Eastleigh. 8) 8) 8)

Wonder if the crowds might be enhancing the budget available at all. I also wonder if PH might be feeling tempted to wait until January and see what's needed but any knock to Taylor would leave us seriously short and sounded like he was knackered by the end tonight.

Hurst will bring someone in when he’s ready and we know he won’t just panic sign someone…

Can’t knock tonight though…was enjoyable to watch too…
