Great that nobody outside of the Humberside area can hear them because of the short-sightedness of Sheffield Wednesday and Seattle Seahawks fan Rob Staton deciding it's not worth sending JT down to Exeter to commentate in person.

Unfortunately it comes down to intelligence and there are a lot of people on here who just don't have a lot of it, can't read a game and just don't understand it. Hurst hasn't done a bad job, it just took too long to get the team to gel. But was that his fault? He didn't get his team together until end of January and then it was with hardly any money, as we have had 2 1st teams this season, therefore had to split the budget. Add to that the fact he had to attract players to Grimsby, a place we struggle to attract players anyway and he hasn't done a bad job.

I can't go as far as say he did a good job as at the end of the day we are getting relegated. But I had us relegated 10 games ago, yet the last 5/6 games, barring 1, we have been good, maybe even very good for the quality of players out there. We were one silly decision away from mounting the unthinkable of escapes. Win tonight and I could of actually seen us stay up. But it wasn't to be, it's the way the cookie crumbles I'm afraid.

I know who is to blame and its not Hurst. Its the BOARD!!!! UTM!

Getting rid of Fenty and Co is going to be well worth a relegation. I’m looking forward to a new start for GTFC that we’d never have had if he was still in charge .
Positivity from the supporters is required in tonne bags now to help the new owners rebuild . Forget this season, it was fooked on so many levels , and help the club in the way we have done in the past safe in the knowledge it’ll be appreciated and used for the good of GTFC - unlike in the past !!

And I wasn't really posting in hindsight I had this conversation with Son Of at the time, its just I'm not one of those people that spends most of the game looking at my phone and posting, I prefer to watch the game. then comment after.

No mate I said I wasn't coming on here again after the opportunity to move forward was missed and Hurst was reappointed (on the cheap no doubt) in a retrograde step just as everyone was going on about the future under the new owners.

I managed to resist until last night when I just had to say something. Once again we've got a bunch of folk all going headlong behind the latest manager just as they all went stupid for Holloway and Jolley before that. Hurst was not the man we needed and is not the man we need now especially if, as hopefully it will be, money is not a problem under the new supposedly flush owners

I shall once again retire gracefully from this forum until Hurst goes or I am proved wrong and he once again leads us, ear cupped, back into the Football League

He may have things going on his private life /history though Kingston that make him this way. I personally in the brief time I have spoken to him and the way he has spoken to me dont mind the fellow.
