The draw for the quarter finals of the Lincs Senior Cup has handed us a Lincolnshire derby away at Spalding.

I didn’t get where I am today without knowing that the Lincolnshire Senior Cup is for teams in Lincolnshire.

It would be nice if Town & The Imps took this seriously for once and played their 1st teams, attracting a decent crowd in the Final.
2013 or 14 was the last time either side won it I think? 🤔

i dont think it would attract a crowd though mate would it, maybe 1500/2000 tops, glorified friendly game isnt it

Personally I think we should break away from the Lincolnshire Cup and form the North East Lincolnshire Super League.
75% or the members could be permanent- us, Grimsby Borough and Cleethorpes Town. And there could be one invitation only team each season.
We could play 18 rounds of fixtures- play the other 3 clubs home and away 3 times each.
At the end of the league the top 2 teams could play a 2 legged Final and the bottom 2 teams could drop into the North East Lincolnshire Conference League.
That way the 4 clubs could get all the revenue and the greedy Lincolnshire FA wouldn’t get their 10% of the gate receipts.
