So is Paul Hurst revving up his motorbike?!

If he pulled it off then he deserves the freedom of the Town, with free fish and chips and beer wherever he goes.  Feels too late to me - a couple of wins from the run of draws and we’d be on our way

Ask after the Colchester game

Colchester could take it away from us with a home win either tonight or against Southend on Tuesday. If they fail to win either, we’ve got a chance.

After that win that should give us so much confidence going forward, just pray that Colchester lose tonight. 🙏🏻

We will know by next saturday.

Expecting 3 wins in a week is maybe asking too much after only winning 7 all season.

BUT

If we play like today we should fear no team in this league.

If you remember the film, he fell literally at the final hurdle, and most of the others were caught (and shot). Not a good model in this case (though probably a good metaphor for our predicament).

In our version of the film we wouldnt even get to the end of the tunnel.

The chirpy little West Country rear gunner got the tunnel misaligned so it came up in the Commandant’s office.

Sadly I think we’re at the “good luck” “thanks!” stage of the film.

Didn't they all die in the film?

James Garner got to Switzerland at the expense of Scunthorpe’s Donald Pleasance.

I think about 3 got home runs. In the film and in reality.

I think we’re more in Colditz territory now. Is Hursty going to be Major Pat Reid?
