A woeful result, Walsall sounding flipping dreadful...we can argue the reasons for us going down and probably deserving too but to be honest, it’s the first Saturday in weeks when I’ve watched town, we played well all game. Every single player battled and we won.

I’ll take that...and remember, the ducking idiot running/ruining the club for the last 20 years is on his way out...

Need a Southend win on Tuesday now, and we could be four points behind Colchester with a game in hand.

Bottom line is that we need to string a run of wins together and see where it leads.

After the constant up and down of the last couple of months, I’d accepted we were relegated. We win today and I’m back up again. Then Colchester.

This is ruining what’s left of my mental health.
