The Euro 2020 Championships begin on the 11th June 2021 with 24 teams.

Anyone interested in a sweepstake, say £10 a team which would give me £240 to play with.

The prizes I have offered before are winner, runner-up, first team to lose on penalties and worst team in the group stage, so will probably do the same again.

Okay, now that the season has ended I will start to take your entries for this. The competition begins on the 11th of June, so to give me time to do the draw and get everything posted on here I will but a deadline of 1 week before the start (4th June) for entries to be received.

If you have expressed an interest in the first sweep (which was full) then you can send over your entry money of £10 either via paypal to lesbrechin@hotmail.com, or via bank transfer (my details are exactly the same as before but if you don't know them PM me and I will let you know what they are). We still need a few more entrants for the 2nd sweep to run so anyone else interested can send over their money too.

There are a few people who have entered both sweeps and I have had an enquiry as to whether they will get a different team in each sweep.

What I plan to do when making the draw is to put all the teams in one bag and then the sweep 1 entrants in a 2nd bag and the sweep 2 entrants in a 3rd bag.

I will draw a team and then a name from each of the other 2 bags. It is therefore possible that the same person could draw the same team in both sweeps but if this happens, what I propose I do is to put the name of that person back into the 2nd sweep bag and draw another name.

I hope you will agree that this is the fairest way and then the people who have entered both sweeps have a different team in each one.

Hopefully it won't happen though.

UEFA & FIFA people are paid to do the job so have to justify their extremely high wages. Les does it for free so uses an easy method.

I have had an email from Bartgtfc saying this.

Hi Les, hope you are well.
I have been making these Oak coasters (see photo) and donating part of the procedes of each one sold to the GTFC handicap supporters club. I would like to donate a couple as extra random prizes for the sweepstake if possible. (The cost of which I will  also donate to the handicap supporters club, £14.00).

I would just require winners names & addresses to send them to them or they would require collection from my shop at waltham windmill.

I will do a random draw at the end of the competition to decide who the 2 winners are.

Lukeo has paid his entry but I am yet to hear back from Mayaman who was 2nd reserve.

I will give him until tomorrow morning to get his entry fee over to me, otherwise I will open the last place up to whoever gets their money to me first as I want to do the draws over the weekend and need the 2 sweeps filling asap.
