With the aim of clarification,

I have received a mail today from the Trust saying a previous e-mail address for sending the voting form to was wrong, but it was only wrong on the mail sent “previously” today
I think the mailing address given a couple of weeks back and on the voting form is correct (are you still with me ?  ;))

Anyway, I think the correct address is

geoff.bielby@hullcityst.com

Still over 20 hours left to vote or join and vote.

Loads of useful stuff on the Trust page of the Fishy.

Correct - all documentation and emails have had the correct email address - geoff.bielby@hullcityst.com apart from the reminder email sent last night at 18:53. That was spotted and a correction email sent soon after.

Proxy and election voting has now ended.

If you are a member you can still vote on the resolutions during the AGM.

I wasn't intending to appear "nit picking", just didn't want people getting mixed up and maybe missing the chance to vote.
I think the Trust have upped their game recently, and I certainly feel better informed and valued as a member  :)

The annual subscription seems of no consequence really for us to feel involved, especially considering how many tenners I've thrown away on iFollow this season  ::)

No big deal, I don’t need a title to offer my skills etc. The offer is always there.

Well done all elected.

I’m so sorry for you. I guess you have to find any way you can just to get Mummy’s attention, even if it means she shouts at you.

Bless you. Hope things improve for you and you find some real fulfilment.

Of all the skills that are needed by the Trust you would have thought Marc was a shoe in.

Just shows you its not what you know (skills) its who you know

How do the same old faces change? By people stepping up and, for the first time ever, we had a contested election.

Of the 6 that were elected 2 were completely new and 1 having been co-opted on since the last AGM.

Baffles me who the intercourse would vote him in

I'm no fan of the trust but pinning relegation on them feels a little harsh.

Jesus....people do actually understand how democracy works don't they?

Well done all for actually putting themselves forward in the first place.

The Trust needs grafters-people who will put the hours in for all the boring jobs that make for a successful organisation.
I am convinced that Chris, Wayne, Kel and Hayley will do exactly that. The future for the Trust is bright. We certainly have a lot of work to do.

More whinging from people who presumably didn’t bother voting, considering only 266 people did and the candidate with the most votes received 182. Don’t think the allegations of ballot stuffing and voter fraud are going to hold up.

Plenty of scope there for people to make a contribution, considering the pages and pages of bleating there has been on the subject over the years. Did they bother? Must have missed those dissenting voices on the ballot paper.

I have seen the response about co-option on a previous answer. However if Marc has specific skills that would significantly benefit the Trust and he is willing to help still, then co-option should be considered.

If there's a Stupid Post of the Week then you've got my vote. What a ridiculous thing to say
no it doesn't show 'it's who you know'. It shows how democracy works. It was 250+ Trust members voting privately and independently.
Many of those voters won't personally know the people who were up for election, especially as many of the electorate are likely to be exiles.
Personally i read the 'manifestos' and looked at their experience and voted for those who i thought would be of most benefit to the Trust.
I think i know 1 of the 8 on the ballot and recognise the names of another couple. i voted for Marc as i thought his background would be very useful. I didn't vote for Rutter for all the reasons that have been put out there.

Have to say I find this extraordinary and from a personal perspective as wrong as any statement could be. I've never met any of the individuals involved, I just read their submissions and voted for the ones I thought would offer most to the trust.

I too am sorry Marc did not get elected he designed the new Harry Haddock and did a lot of good work on the operation promotion.

Maybe next time Marc you have some good contacts and great idea's and would be an assert to the trust.

Like many others, I read the narratives and voted for the best 6 who I thought could offer the best mix of skills to the Trust.

If some posters thought x person should hve been elected, then they could have joined the Trust and voted as they saw fit.
