Video update on Good Morning Transfers. One or two in before weekend - "very close" with a defensive player.

Good news.

Two players in for the Southend game would be a major help. Sounds like one is a defender. Lets hope the other is a striker.

Of all the things I have done in my life, at least I can say I was there on the 31st December 2005.

'One or two before the weekend.' I assume one of these would have been the defender who is not now coming. So we are looking at one new face at best.

It's going to take a huge effort from the current players to beat in form Southend. Let's see if they can step up.

If the 'almost certain' one has now seemingly backed out, that leaves the less likely one as the one we are now relying on.

There have been two players that we have been close to signing who joined a team we were about to play, or a team who had just beaten us.

Feels like we are going to be in the same position as Ollie was, scrambling for someone....anyone who might come play here, no matter what level of talent or fitness they are at.
