Dagenham and Redbridge have called off tomorrow's League fixture against Borehamwood due to several players and staff showing symptoms of Covid-19. See https://www.daggers.co.uk/news/-MKtfeNQqJo7qKideHzO

Presumably that's going to put next Saturday's FA Cup tie in doubt?

Altho this could give our players a well needed rest , Its starting to get out of hand very quickley , how long can it keep going before the efl pull the plug . and all the money the clubs have paid out in wages etc have been wasted when we needed to keep hold of it to survive ?

And our much maligned Covid clauses means we’re not paying out even more money.

I thought someone posted a few days ago that the FA changed the rule that clubs would have to forfeit the game if they had to pull out because of covid and games from the 1st Round Proper would just be postponed. (book3)

Not necessarily, they scrapped that rule on Monday. It would be too obvious if they scrapped it in Round 3!

It’s more of a surprise them being shown than it would be if Salford were shown.

Knowing the FA in that case both us and the daggers will have to forfeit the game and they will choose a tie at random and award both those teams a bye

No, as Hull got moved to the only spare Tuesday.

This game has to be played by a week on Monday if I read correctly before the FA get involved?

Fa cup takes precedent over every other comp doesnt it ? So free week or not the game would go ahead over league or Mickey mouse cup games
