Looks like throwing money at it isn't working for Mansfield yet again.

Fascinating wording in that statement - he is described as chairman but she is described as co-chairwoman. Surely they are both co-chairs? Or is it a real insight into who's actually in charge?

It appears Mansfield are using our copy writers!

I think a 5 year contract on championship money could persuade the Cowleys . ;D

Thought they might have turned up at Salford by now?

Unlikely, they want control of the whole shebang, no way the owners would allow that.

Pete may be right, Mansfield could be a good fit though Mansfield owners are likely to stick an oar in too.

Surely after a successful turn with Huddersfield, rescuing a side that looked doomed, and with a game or two to spare I think, they would do better than Mansfield! League 1 absolute minimum surely.

They still live here in Lincoln so it’s a good geographical fit. Rumour here and about is the Sunderland job as their Chief Executive, formerly at Scunny, Jim Rodwell is also a Lincoln guy and someone the Cowleys socialise with. Think Parkinson is probably just doing enough at present to keep his job so Mansfield May appeal if the money is there and they’re not normality found wanting financially.
