I've had messages from people who have said they donated because we have been so successful and had gone so far over the original target, but I have also had messages from others saying they would have donated more had we not far exceeded what we were asking for.

I think the gesture is more important than the amount

I will leave this running for a few more days but the concensus so far is to leave the target at £500.
