No I don't but that's beside the point.
I really hope he's right(he usually is) after the other nights performance

No! He just rambles on.

I understand his theory but surely that can be detrimental to momentum?

Time will tell I guess...

Bottom right hand corner, little wheel, click on that, choose audio then click on away, that'll give you radio dullberside

Mine usually sets up humberside commentary straight away, and had no problems with PayPal. Worked fine. Just wished they’d sort something out where you can cast games from your phone to your tv rather than linking cables to my laptop.

Seems to be a modern development. There was a time when the team never changed, even when we had Tuesday night games and cup matches. Can remember some Town players amassing 60 games or more in a season.

Mind you, we are not really up to speed yet with this strange season, so fair enough.

The Trust are putting up posts on social media encouraging folk to get a match pass. Perhaps someone from the Trust ought to have a word with the club to get someone to apply some pressure on whoever is in charge of the output.

I can't believe no one is getting this sorted seeing as it's the only income stream we have at the moment. Just feels like yet again, we are a cash cow, expected just to stump up the cash without complaint.

I have to think that there is something wrong with the systems people are using.  I have paid to watch every game this season with absolutely no problems whatsoever.  I watch it on my PC.  It's nothing to do with luck, if some people can watch it with no problems, then it shows the product is working as intended, and the fault lies at the users end.  If you are getting buffering (circle in middle going round and round), then it's a problem with your internet.

Then why did it start at 33 mins for FOOW? If his system works from 33 mins, why not the previous 32 mins?

It's way too glitchy.

It's on a par with the governments track and trace app.

You're missing the point, it is NOT glitchy, it works for me and many other people, so for those 33 minutes he missed, it wasn't their fault, it was working for us.  Also, as above, I use an ethernet cable to my PC.  What you also have to take into account is that this time of the evening is peak time for the internet, that could be one of the reasons some people get buffering some of the time.

The first two games I watched without any issues

Walsall away and Salford at home  ( both on Google Chrome )

The Bolton game I missed the first 10 minutes after buying my pass 20 minutes before the game ( so half an hour to connect )

Some folk said don't leave it too late to get on... I bought my pass just after half four today and it connected about six o'clock

I tried it on Chrome and on the Microsoft browser.... nothing whatsoeve on either one

That's why I said it's about luck.... connection just seems so random  ::)

Even if people are using the recommended specifications on the iFollow website?
People have reported issues with internet connectivity way above the minimum standards.

I'm not missing the point at all. I have super fast virgin broadband connected by ethernet and i have nothing but problems with iFollow. So much so that I've given up on it.

I watch all programmes streamed through my PC which is connected to my TV. Regularly watch Netflix, Amazon, HBO, BBCi player, ITV player, Youtube and many other streaming services without any problems at all. I bet I could buy a SKY pass for £10 and it would work flawlessly. I'm quite clued up on how stuff works, especially streaming.

For whatever reason, whether it be iFollow or operator error, the fact is that a lot of people have given up on it out of frustration. It's a shame because it is costing the club vital revenue.

I really don't understand why you and others think it's about luck.  Other people are watching it the whole time, I didn't buy my pass until 17:20 and connected right away.  It's fairly obvious to me that internet connection appears to be the problem, many things affect your internet, your ISP, your router, your connections to your wifi, how many other people in your home are using the internet, etc.

Maybe it's because your PC is connected to your TV.  Seriously, how hard is it to realise that it is not iFollows fault when many of us get it every match and don't have any problems whatsoever.

I’m the only one using the internet at home right now

My PC is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable ( in the same way it’s used all week for my work connection)

I say it’s luck because out of four games I’ve had two successful connections, one iffy one and one very poor tonight where I missed most of the first half

Obviously your computer and connection aren’t giving you any issues but lots of have had them

Something is not right and I don’t believe it’s anything you’ve raised that is giving such intermittent service for me

And how hard is it for you to realise that it simply doesn't work correctly for everyone? All of my TV viewing is streamed. I don't watch terrestrial TV at all and I have no problems whatsoever with the many streaming sites I use other than iFollow.

Many of you may get it every match, but just as many don't. Many are following the instructions to the letter, have perfectly sound internet connections, but can't get it to work seamlessly as it should.

Exactly this.^^  As I have been saying all along, check your computer and internet because THEY are what is causing them problems.  How can iFollow run perfectly for some, but not for others?  If you can't connect to iFollow that is running perfectly for me, then the fault has to be at your end.

So explain to me why the first two games I watched ( Walsall and Salford ) worked without any issues yet today has been pretty much a waste of my time

Maybe when I get a reply to the email I sent about an hour ago to iFollow's support address they might give me a better explanation than you've provided

You never know they might suggest I change my ISP, get another PC or see if next door might let me watch it on their equipment?  ;)

What utter nonsense, buffering is caused by the provider not buying enough Bandwidth and has nothing to do wth anything else.

so I’m mirroring it from the tablet to the telly. It hasn’t buffered once in 2 games and I think the app is a lot more stable than the website

Sympathise with you both Fish and Ginny. I have the same situation as Headingly and it certainly isn't consistent with when it works on the laptop or not.

I have had days where I can watch on my laptop through a browser and connect it to the TV through HDMI with no problem, yet other days when it doesn't connect (spinning icon) but when I switch to my phone that is using the same wi-fi (it has no data plan) and it works seamlessly.

So now I avoid using the laptop and cast my phone to the TV because the phone seems more reliable.

Worth noting that if I try and watch on my phone through the EFL app, it doesn't seem to allow casting to the TV directly.

So I have to set my phones browser to desktop mode, then connect to iFollow through the web site.
I then cast the phone to the TV and it works.

Not sure if that helps but best of luck - was certainly frustrating messing around trying to get it to work previously.

Had problems through laptop for the first half of the Bolton game (brand new high-spec laptop, hardwired internet - speed measuring high 90s last time I ran a check, firefox, chrome and edge all tried) switched to the app second half and used the app Tuesday and today.

As mentioned above I think the app is a hell of a lot more “stable” than the website and personally not had any issues screen mirroring to the telly off the app.

Seemed to work fine for me. Would be interesting to know if people who have reported problems can watch the "repeat" ok or still have issues. You can go on ifollow and select to watch the entire match again. I just did that to listen to how the Leyton Orient reporters reacted to our penalty and....errr... to see how much of a handball it might have been. .

It's always interesting to listen to opposition commentary to compare views. I felt like Cheltenham's commentary praised us much more than our own did as Mr. Negative was on commentary for that game. Leyton Orient much more biased as you'd expect home commentary to be but still interesting to get their take on the game. Of course they felt they should have had a penalty for handball but nobody seems to have seen their player use his hand to knock the ball on as Waterfall got away with in the previous game, so I guess we can just blame low standards of officials for not seeing the first handball and not allowing the next to even happen.

I found their commentary funny at times, anything we did was down to them making mistakes and not us playing well, they ignore the game to do a bunch of boring call outs constantly. If that was our commentary I think that would do my head in. They even say that people complained so they'll do it less but they must have done like 20 odd through the game!

Some of their fans can't stand their own commentators and also some are saying they shouldn't have had a penalty because their player handled first in the move.

I’m sad and read their forum too. They seem completely oblivious to us hitting the woodwork twice.

ifollow should publish all the numbers sold, then we can restart all the threads about away fan numbers, home fan numbers, who had away fans on the home ifollow end, who is a bigger club than who and which club is the second biggest club in the league 2....after Bradford of course

You mean the content provider who provides me and hundreds of other's, a perfect service?

You still don't get it and probably never will. If you are using Ifollow it is them providing the stream with or without a lot of bandwidth so a few or lots of people can watch. You can try a  millon different computer settings buffering will happen if they (Ifollow) don't have enough bandwidth for all to faultlessly stream. If you are using an IPTV service and are watching a live game they are piggy backing a link provided by that link as it isn't provided by the IPTV service. As are probably all the IPTV services hence lack of bandwidth. No matter what you say you are still wrong. Do you watch BBC via IPTV probably always perfectly as they provide an utter ton of bandwidth. A film via IPTV service is irrelevant as most have downloaded them to their own server.
