Seeing as we haven't got a game:

FT...Brighton 2-3 Man Utd

Bizzare ending.......Man Utd awarded a penalty after the final whistle when VAR alerts the ref to a handball by a Brighton player, United convert the pen and win the game.

What do you expect ? As far as united are concerned there's still a chance 10 minutes after the final whistle.

There were 91 penalties in the PL last season. With the changes to the handball rule + VAR, the guys at Fantasy Football Scout have calculated that if we continue at the same rate there will be 275 penalties this season. If you play any kind of fantasy football, it might be worth having a few penalty takers in your team. And with less clean sheets around, probably fewer premium defenders.

Missed the first half but caught up with the highlights at half time. Not sure if what United were doing for the Spurs goals can be described as defending. Shaw taking out De Gea was gold! If Martial goes, Lamela should go too. Both yellows would be more fitting though.

We seem to be having some bizarre scores every week. When it becomes a battle of 11vs11 it’s anyone’s game.

As bad as United were defensively Liverpool were worse. Tottenham and Villa brilliant though and that shouldn’t be forgotten. Villa in the first half wanted to win every battle and did win the majority of them. A few fortunate chances but you have to be in the right places for them to drop for you.

Yes but players feed of the energy of the fans. I know there would of been less Liverpool fans there but I feel would of still  had some bearing. Hence Liverpool fans are some of the best in the world. Champions league nights are awe inspiring at Anfield. Hence due to the history of  the city as you maybe aware. Poverty etc and the club gave hope and joy to many. Bit like Grimsby to be honest but on a lesser scale.

Chorley could be the best and worse performing team this season.  Coming from 2 down to win at Wigan and then to come from behind again to win at Peterborough, who are top of Div 1.

Chorley have scored the fewest goals in National North.  They are in the 2 relegation places and could be relegated to god knows what division.

Their FAC wins are remarkable.  Shame that they have not any fans to watch these shocks.

Mansfield didn't feck bottom around with the ball near their penalty box in the last minute against Daggers then - and perhaps superior fitness got them their winner in the last minute of extra time. Hope we've learnt our lesson from that one...
