Would have been us if we took the penalty shootout seriously.

Well someone had to say it!

Southend won't be complaining, Morecambe have been playing with 10 men since the 33rd minute.

Latest....Chelsea 6-0 Barnsley

At least we scored.

And we scored the best goal (as we did against Sheffield Wednesday when they thrashed in the FAC).

Said it a different post, because teams were drawn alphabetically we’d have been away at West Brom, so we wouldn’t be getting hammered by Newcastle

We'd have had to go through another round before that, which would have mixed up the whole draw and then the next one would be totally different. And none of that matters, because we didn't win

Just our luck this season to get to the FA Cup third round and draw Man U away, oh well just another 100 odd years till we get them again.

Always amusing to see third division centre backs trying to play out from the back against much better players.

Lincoln's turn to get a Premier League whooping tonight I see. I know we got taken apart at Chelsea last season, but there appear to be an unusual number of heavy defeats for League One and Two club's this year. It seems the difference in preparation (Premier League players have had since June to get properly match fit) and zero atmosphere in grounds has only served to widen the already massive gap between the top and the bottom.

I was thinking the same thing. If it is because of the sharpness of their players having played more recently, then it's a little bit worrying for us being behind other teams yet they're not fully fit yet too.
