And thats why the rates are rising, we have had it banded about for so long that the initial care is wearing off....once restrictions were lifted it didnt take people long to take the extra yard....then bit more...then a bit more......in this instance the players themselves should have reported not fit and isolated....but as it was a big night for them, possibly the biggest game of their careers would they do that ? obviously they didnt....then for the manager to apparently ignore it as well just to presumably help win a game then just compounds that initial mistake.
The same will happen once crowds are allowed in, some people will disregard the rules/guidance and attend the game regardless of any symptoms.

I don’t think crowds returning to football will see an increase in people disregarding so called rules...that’s been happening for ages. I think it probably started once the governments chief advisor blatantly lied to the public’s faces on TV...
People have been returning from holiday and not quarantining, I know of folk who have claimed to have had a test but haven’t. I’ve seen the opposite and people saying they’ve got symptoms but haven’t.
It’s all just become a mess.
But that is indeed a very goal Steve Evans impression...
