Whitehouse has been snapped up by Forest Green Rovers.

In their welcoming blurb they mention that he will be available to play after the completion of a six-game suspension. Good to see that is being adhered to.

Incidentally, do FGR still buy into all that veganism thing? Town players could never do that as there are too many chippys and kebab houses in the area.

Decent player, recovered well from his long-term injury and chipped in with a few goals despite being inexplicably stuck out on the left.

A combination of the pandemic and his suspension meant it was impossible for us to offer him a deal.  A shame he's gone to a rival as I think he would add something to most L2 sides.

FGR fan in peace.

Is this lad any good? We tend to be a sideways passing/possession based side, much like yourselves under Jolley (until he signed Hanson) so hopefully he's someone that can actually have a go at goal once in a while.

On the players diet, at the club they are only served vegan food, but they can eat what they want away from the club, or bring their own food to training etc. We have a couple of very decent chippies/kebab in Nailsworth too btw, just in case any of you are visiting any time soon.  ;)

Was a decent enough player for us, but don't think he was the same player as before his injury, he gives his all but lacks speed and is injury prone not helped by his all out tackling, good luck to him

He certainly seemed to get his mojo back when Ollie took over.

Bit surprised big spending FGR were after him but good luck to him anyway.

Thought he did well after suffering an injury that kept him out for an entire season. Not the fastest player on the pitch by any stretch of the imagination but a good passer of the ball and him picking out a good pass got a few good goals for us. Doesn't mind getting stuck in on tackles and corners either so he can win a ball in midfield and he'll chip in with a couple of goals.

I think he's a decent signing at this level, got some stick from some circles because he's not an 18-20 year old skinny whippet who can run fast but considering the injury and missing a whole season I felt he came back in and played really well. Probably do better after having a lot of games in the previous season behind him and another full pre season to start this season off.

Also suffered because of his year off, his status seemed to be elevated to a Disley like level, simply because he wasn't playing.surprise surprise after a year out he struggled a bit, but came on leaps and bounds under Holloway

Shame FGR missed out on Rekeil Pyke.

Great attitude and work rate probably has more technique than he got credit for and does pop up with the odd goal or two. I’d have been more thank happy to keep him he’s a competent player at L2 level.

Had a bad injury that he worked hard to get over and while he was out he followed the team H&A usually sitting in the away end with our supporters so he deserves all the luck he gets, apart from when we play you of course.

Gives his all, doesnt show it too often but is also capable of the odd moment of class, 90% of the time doesnt particularly stand out but is in there doing a standard central midfielders job of holding shape, breaking play up and keeping it fairly simple and capable of arriving in the box at the right time to nick a goal.....biggest drawback is probably his lack of pace.
Assisted in our goal of the season this year.  ;D

Oh and any chippy that doesnt serve or even know what scraps are isn't a decent chippy.  :P

Nice brewpub though next door to the sub standard chippy.

Can i just say what most was saying last season - he was crap.
Gave the ball away far to often and just not very good.
100% effort tho if thats enough for you?

Was a passenger in games last season under MJ but not sure how much of that was down to coaching or returning to fitness after missing a season.

Looked alright after Ollie arrived and was one of our better players I thought. Looked neat on the ball in tight spaces and could turn to keep possession. Gets in to the box, gets stuck in but lacks pace.

OK at this level but not outstanding is how I saw him.

I’m surprised he got another league two club.
The injury has really impacted his athleticism and he’s very one paced.
Had a little resurgence under Ollie, but I’d have been disappointed if we didn’t have better in our squad.
Does have the knack of being in the right place for a tap in though.
