2 things

1) How/why are they signing players without a first team manager?
2) Why does McSheffrey ring a bell? Has he ever been/potentially been part of the set up at Town?

Voted Slade too  8)

Played a handful of games for us at the end of 17/18.

Hill would be a good selection for them. No manager and they've signed five already!

I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s funny. I actually think he could be the man to take Scunny out of League Two.

To the national league perhaps.

To be fair to Slade I think he was unfairly sacked, you could see he was on the verge of turning us around with Wilko as as his assistant.

In fact I reckon they would have got us back in the second tier given more time, they reminded me a bit of Cloughy and Taylor if I'm honest.

Just in case Swann is reading this   ;)

My vote’s taken him up to 39% now, surely if he hits 40% they have to give him the job?

Surely Matt Dean is just trolling them...I mean Swann is an idiot but not that much of one surely?
Posted by: Poojah, August 6, 2020, 1:38pm; Reply: 26
Just for the avoidance of any doubt, and before I get accused of trying to lose someone their job, the above 'tweet' from Matt Dean quoting Kevin Keegan referring to Russell Slade as a cap-wearing c**t is not real.

Don't want to lose trust...

I can only imagine Swann is behind the signets, sorry signings.

It makes you wonder how much say a manager would have anyway.

Voted for Slade.  :)

How funny would it be if Slade did get the job and they paid homage to the public who made him the clear favourite, not realising that 99% of those who voted for the useless t0sser, were GTFC fans wanting him to fail miserably.

Cox to Scunny; the defeated conference playoff finalists' assistant manager?  Imagine if when we lost to Brizzle Rovers, if a League 2 side appointed Doig!?

Maybe he will turn out to be an inspired choice, but it looks like they've gone for the ex-player option. Looks like a gamble. Well, Grant McCann wasn't available!
