It is very sad to hear that long serving football club people are being made redundant; and they genuinely have my sympathy.

Personally I would have made the person who sounds the air raid siren redundant, don't Lincoln know, the war finished 75 years ago.  ;)

If things aren’t fully back up and running when the furlough scheme has to be part funded by the employers it’s inevitable that GTFC will have to do the same.

The whole jobs situation is gonna get worse before it gets better I'm afraid.

Ticket Office Manager is a rather precarious job at the moment. Hopefully new opportunities will emerge in online viewing, whether fans are allowed back or not there is bound to be an increased demand. One job title's loss is another job title's gain.

LNER sponsored Sincil Bank when they extended all their Newark to/from London Kings Cross services into Lincoln.

GTFC have been trying to find a stadium sponsor for Blundell Park for years.

How about “End of the Line” as a similar rail name for BP?

Could apply in different ways.  And the chances of getting a new ground.

Some voluntary, some leavers and some who are possibly victim of Appleton having less playing budget.

Not nice but this is and will be happening to tens of thousands more sadly.
