Taken this from Leyton Orient's FC website, to provide a bit information

As you may have seen, The O’s have captured the imagination of clubs all around the world with the idea of a FIFA 20 tournament between clubs during this time of fixture postponement.

Named, ‘Ultimate Quaran-Team’, 128 clubs have signed up to take part in the tournament – from Premier League champions Man City, through to League 2 – and clubs from around Europe, America, Australia and Africa.

The initiative is one borne out of the desire to bring clubs together during a time of unprecedented measures surrounding Covid-19, and so far has been a great success.

A Force For Good

We’re now looking to step this up a level, as we ask you to join us in a fundraising campaign that could have some real-world consequences.

Through a JustGiving page, which you can find here, we are looking to raise money for the following reasons:

Firstly, for vital funding for EFL clubs who are going to have massive financial struggles (as of course will many industries across the world) during this time of fixture postponement.

With no matchday income for the foreseeable future football clubs are struggling and things will only get worse.

If this cause can play a small way for clubs going during an unprecedented time, then it would be an amazing force for good. 75% of money raised will be given to the EFL within 28 days.

Secondly, the remaining 25% will be split between for two very worthy causes. One is the EFL’s chosen charity ‘MIND’ (219830), and secondly in funding the all-important COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.

“This is very much the brainchild of our innovative Media Team – Luke and Dan,” said Chief Executive Danny Macklin.

“This provides a fantastic opportunity to play a small part in providing some engaging content with football fans at this very difficult time.

“Furthermore and perhaps even more importantly it’s a chance to raise much needed funds for EFL clubs and two phenomenal causes.

“On behalf of Leyton Orient FC we want to thank everyone for their support and we very much wish everyone well.”

How Do I Get Involved?

There’ll be plenty of ways for you to get engaged with the tournament throughout, as teams will the have the option to stream their games as we look to crown an Ultimate Quaran-Team champion.

For more on the tournament, head through to the Leyton Orient Twitter account (@LeytonOrientFC), where we will keep everyone updated with how things are proceeding.

More information will follow ahead of the first-round draw, which will take place on Wednesday 18th March.

How To Donate?

If this idea has put a smile on your face, or kept you entertained in a tough time – please consider donating whatever you can – as it could make a massive difference for the football clubs you love.

You can do this by visiting the JustGiving page – which is https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ultimate-quaranteam

Orient have that Scum Dream Team thing as their shirt sponsor, not sure why they're surprised to see their logo on a twitter post.

The live feed of the draw is pretty entertaining to be fair to the Evening Standard. The comment for Aston Villa vs VVV Venlo winning so far for me. If this is broadcast I am 100% enough of a loser to watch Town. I might even stick my scarf on and get the kids in their strips.

Glamour tie!

Grimsby Town vs Motherwell

Let's put the debate to bed once and for all. Will the Scottish Premiership side emerge unscathed?

DId you see that the La Liga FIFA online tournament raised €140k for Covid-19 support?

Barcelona and Real Mallorca were not allowed to take part because their clubs are sponsored by Konami, the creators of Fifa 20’s main competitor, Pro Evolution Soccer

I said it the other week but Barcelona have become the most disgusting club in the world.

Are the teams leveled up or is Brad going to get stuffed when he comes up against a prem team?

i read somewhere that all teams are 85 rating.

believe the worry is that he comes up against a pro-gamer next, and that the pro-gamers should beat the pro-footballers.  Time will tell!!

Is the Sydney team played by a pro gamer?

I think they should have stipulated that each team is represented by a player or coach really

Genuinely interested in why you think FCB are the most disgusting club in the world? (from the point of view that there's no shortage of candidates).

That's probably more the fault of either Konami or EA digging their heels in over rights to the image/name of the clubs than anything else

Perhaps their partnership with Unicef.  Oh, maybe not.

Just romped into the last 32 with a come from behind 2-1 win against the much fancied Sydney fc. Watched with the kids and celebrated like it was a real win. Genuinely enjoyed watching it which is scary in itself!

😂 I had a genuine moment earlier when I decided Garmston deserves a contract for next season on the back of this. Thankfully I suspect IH will be a bit more measured in his decision making.

Bradley Garmston is representing Town again in the Stay Intertoto Cup and all the purists will be happy to know that it's just pro footballers and no esport kids involved. Our first game against Morecambe is 7.30 tonight on towns YouTube channel.
