Thats every player apart from Benson in the build up - a truly beautiful team goal - Ollie we salute you

Goal No.3 last night wasn't too bad either!

If Benson's not contributing maybe we should look at getting rid!   :P

I think the stand out thing from last night was the attacking mindset from midfield, Benson shifted the ball well and Whitehouse has returned to the player we signed from Lincoln. He does the job nobody really wants to do but does it well.

Tilley played well and contributed in an attacking way.

I guess another positive was unlike previous games where some of us have felt the substitutions have not necessarily had a positive impacted and made us look disjointed, last night that wasn’t the case.

Are we scoring a lot of better goals this season or is my memory just poor? The two mentioned above from last night, both of Robson's at Exeter, Green's equaliser at home to Colchester, Green's at Chelsea, Vernam's against Stevenage...any other bangers? I don't remember this many decent goals since Connell.

Perhaps Vernam gives us the answer in his interview.

“The manager has brought in different ideas, a different mindset, a different way of playing and it’s really starting to show.

We are not going to go to places like Colchester and sit on the back foot and see games out 0-0. That’s not what the manager wants and not what we want to do as players.”

I'm just happy that we finally have a manager who wants to entertain and values performances over results. Losing or winning 3 to 2 is much more preferable to endless and dreary 0-0's and 1-0's. Football should be exciting and entertaining.

Of course if we can be successful as well, that would be great.

Mmmm I think on balance I'd rather see boring 1-0 wins than entertaining 2-3 defeats
