Glennon good full back, left Liverpool because a younger player took his place. Our youth left back not ready yet. Gibson gone back to Newcastle because he’s worried about not getting a new contract. He’s spoken to Parkinson about Robson, told him how good he is, says he’s got a good relationship with him and he’s left it with him. Another new signing, who he has worked with, expected to be signed in time for training on Thursday.

I guess that player he's worked with before could be Billy Clarke?. Only a guess like.

Can't watch that right now because I'm on a ward now with a load of others but I've been meaning to write to Ollie thanking him for bringing me such hope and positivity while I been suffering in hospital and wishing him and his wife find somewhere lovely in the area that brings them joy. Don't want any fame from it though, just it's all moved me quite a lot in my darkest hour

A good dollop of Ollie potion, hopefully will set on the right track to a full recovery.

Hope you are able to get to BP soon, to see the Ollies black and white.

Thanks mate, yep the Ollie potion has warmed my cockles and made me giddy like a schoolkid while all the while body suffering. Hope is a great thing, I kinda believe that despairing over Town being down in doldrums can't be positive for any of ours health, it's proven stress and negativity not good for you... but the ole Ollie ointment gonna be a great pick-me-up for all of us! β¬›β¬œβ¬›β¬œ

Did he say in that video that the boys aren't in on Wednesday? Assume they don't train on Mondays and travel to London on Friday so surely we don't just train 2 days?

Why do you assume we don't train on Monday's? (Not being rude, just wandering). We do.

Yeah Holloway mentioned about them having a routine and not being in Wednesday, so I can only assume under Jolley they got Wednesdays off if there's no midweek game.

Training is normally on Mondays.. often see the players at Cheapside.. :)

Ok
I assumed they'd get Monday off after a Saturday game. Thought I also read that Olly was travelling back on Monday. I just thought that a new manager would be on the training ground virtually every day, not for fitness, but systems and formation

Thing is they work every Saturday so  are bound to have one weekday off (and probably Sunday at a guess).

Players are normally in Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday plus match days. Tuesday training depends on fixtures.

Just found out that IH has a after dinner speaking commitment in Lincoln on Friday 28 February and has confirmed he will still speak as he is to be living over in this area. Just bought a ticket so should get the chance to join in with IH in giving the locals some confirmation that we are still the biggest and best club in Lincolnshire and the Chimps need to be looking over their shoulders πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Haha, bless'em!

Do you know what their latest claim to fame is? Ollie stayed there for a couple of nights! Big news in their local rag...

I f'cking hope so. First Scunny. Then them. And I'd like to think Hull will be on the radar in the not too distant future. Been a long time, but the normal pecking order should be restored. (Bit of a long shot that last one admittedly  :-/ )

Don't think us above Hull will ever be the normal pecking order anymore sadly the way theyve reinvented themselves and gone from a few hardcore at clapped out Boothferry Road to their new found legions and plenty of years of Premier League under their belt at new ground.

Maybe if we get a new ground we can get something like and flirt above them briefly here and then, but they a major city and will always have more pulling power.

Great to be having this conversation though, only a couple of weekends ago even some of the most hardcore of the hardcore were saying they finally giving up and hanging up their boots when it comes to GTFC.

That and Hull have over double the population of the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area so they have on paper many more potential fans too. Which makes it harder for us. Bums on seats is money in the club.

Yes meant to add that they a major city too but looks like didnt πŸ‘
