It's great to see the vast majority of Town fans celebrating today's news and I genuinely believe Holloway can help rebuild our famous club and guide us onto better things.

For me one of the biggest positives to come out of this is that he has purchased shares and will be a voice in board meetings etc... We've long been saying that the board is devoid of anyone with specialist, in-depth football knowledge and they don't come much more knowledgeable that Ian Holloway. I firmly believe he can help build the club from top to bottom.. On and off the pitch!

I loved the response to the Sky Sports question about typical manager votes of confidence in board meetings and he responded "I'll be giving them a few votes of confidence don't you worry about that" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚... He'll definitely keep them on their toes!

Bristolians are renowned for their love of cider but even so that's quite extreme.

As a share holder you would imagine that he may not be easily tempted away if things start moving forward on the pitch and we have some success.

I like the fact there is zero arrogance about this man.

Biggest positives (well aims:  ) to develop all players to maximise their potential, especially young players, to make all players believe in themselves and to get rid of slackers.

Good that current players are to be developed (hopefully) as we have very little money for new players.  Although gates should improve and bring in more income.

Imagine where he could actually get us though with the right investment, forget the premier league it’s not impossible but it’s very unlikely, I would just love to see championship football again

My keen Leeds mate will be very envious - Holloway should have gone to Leeds 17 years ago.  He has taken 2 teams up from the Championship, whilst the mighty Leeds are still (currently) still in the Championship. >:(

I'd happily take top half league one long term. Short term to turn these draws into wins and get up to mid table then aim for play offs.

Be realistic, times have changed and even the championship has a redicilous amount of money floating around in it.

To be fair I’d be happy with some unity and everyone pulling in the same direction......just add to that the passing ball on the ground and let’s see what happens.

Yes OP a proper football man in the boardroom, hopefully less of running it on the cheap like a fish factory, he's seen how good clubs around him and can pass on that knowledge.
